A comment to all, the most -even the simplest heart freq meter- supports the tracking of the actual calorie usage (it is a simple calculation, depending on the signal of you heartbeat and your assumed maximum pulse. This defines a several percentage of fatburn rate, which is in someway (don´t bother me with the details ;-) ) multiplicated with daily form fudge factor and bodyweight. It is just a calculation, but it gives you a hint, don´t over-estimate the value of this figures. It would be eventually better, if you could specify the intended purpose, name the kinds of sport you want to do, or is it for medical reasons or just weight loosing? I think it depends more info, to specify the best choice.
