Personally, I'd say no. Similar form factor doesn't equal the same thing. Apple is continually evolving the OS and the features. You're not going to get that with the knock-offs. Even just considering one feature such as sync. Nothing is going to sync as well with iTunes as the iPhone since they are both made by Apple. And browsing on the iPhone can't be beat by anyone.
