Details: I'm in high school and we all carry laptops. I'm looking for a laptop that that can handle being dropped, hit, thrown around. theyr constantly moving so i need one that is reliable. I have a Toshiba Portege M400 (school issued laptop) and i hav to say it definately isnt durable.

I just reseached and bought a Lenovo T61. Lenovo manufactured the IBM Thinkpad line. Their T line is the newest Thinkpads. They have been discounting 25% so I got a $1,300 for $950 with a 2 Gig upgrade. One thing, if you are a total gamer, you'll want the NVidia Video Upgrade.
