Q:
digital camera point and shoot
Jul 15th 2007, 14:35 - 3 Answers Category: Cameras & Photo Details: Can anyone give me information on the best Digital Point and Shoot cameras? My Last digital camera was the Kodak Easyshare One but it just quit working, too expensive to fix so now I need a new camera. I was looking for info on the SLR's but I think for now I will stick with the easier Point and Shoot models. Thanks for any help. Carol |

Hi carol. I remember your first post. I highly recommend this camera. It's not quite as compact as cannon's SD series nor as point and shoot but if you still have aspirations to own a SLR some day this camera will allow you to experiment with some of the controls.

You should look for something simple, durable, and compact. I have an Elph S300 I purchased from 7 years ago and it hasn't fail me. The Canon PowerShot SD700 IS is a very strong, compact digital camera that produces great pictures. Its price is a bit high compared to that of its little brothers, the SD600 and SD630, but its great image stabilization and subsequent blur-free photos are worth the extra few quid. Good luck shopping!

I bought the Canon Power Shot a few months and love it. It's simple to use and produces great pictures. My last camera was a Kodak Easy share. I find the Cannon SD600 takes pics faster, the zoom is much better, more manual feature (to adjust for various lighting), and the camera itself is sleeker.
