I have the shure e4c's, but not sure if you need to go that high on the audio quality, not to mention the price is more expensive, too. these are like earplugs plus awesome earphones in one. I LOVE mine for traveling on planes and it drowns out most of the noise..you still will hear the humming of the engines, but baby crying noises are a thing of the past with these on. i put them in, turn on my music, and usually fall asleep. the link i gave you has them for $64, pretty cheap. personally, i like these better than the noise cancelling types where you turn on a button to cancel out background noise.. i find those to be a bit clunky and not necessary at all when these do the job just as well, if not better. good luck!

I Agree that Shure makes an outstanding product - if you want to spend a little more check out E500PTH - enjoy your travels
