Are you travelling? If so, I have found that my WaMu ATM is the best. They charge an approximate 1% service fee per transaction. I've used it in multiple countries over the last few years. It's a debit card so you have to make sure you have enough cash to cover what you spend.

Absolutely not! I HAD AN CREDIT ACCT. CLOSED BECAUSE THEY WERE SO HARD TO WORK WITH. I ENDED UP CLOSING MY ACCT AND OPENING ONE ELSEWHERE. WAMU WOULD NOT LOWER THEIR INTREST RATE SINCE I CLOSED MY ACCT. IT ENDED UP STAYING AT 32%. AT THIS PPOINT I DIDN'T CARE WHERE BUT NOT THERE. I ENDED UP GOING W/ B OF A (FOR THE MOMENT) BUT CURRENTLY STILL LOOKING.

Using major brands like VISA/Mastercard can help reduce those fees or always pay in Cash.
