Dmcdet, My quick answer would be the SD800 without having more info. But, what are you looking for? Small point and shoot? Big SLR? Try adding some details to your question by clicking "Add Details" above. That might help get you some better answers.

There are many models, if you're looking for a point and shoot the SD700 and SD800's are the best for just a digital camera that is meant for point and shoot
However theres recently been sale's going on for the SD1000, but it isnt as good as the older versions

I have an SD600 and love it. It was a great price when I bought and takes great photos with very little effort. It's really a point and shoot camera. There are some manual settings that can change for more flexibility in some non optimal conditions (night shots, close up, etc.)
