Some of my friends have had memory foam mattresses. They are comfortable, but I find the regular mattress with the "pillow" layer added to the top much more comfortable. Add a nice, soft, feather pillow to the mix and a mink blanket, and you have a mighty comfortable sleeping experience!! You sleep nearly 30% of your entire life...make sure you are happy and comfortable for that 30% of your life! ^_-

Im using an inflatable mattress and placed it on top of my futon bed. Its very comfy Coleman has the larger and elevated types-other brands such as Eddie Bauer also are similar.

My husband and i bought a nice affordable memory foam matress at ikea. it's not as thick as a standard mattress, so you will need some sort of supportive surface underneath. We love it!

I recently bought a great mattress and very affordable. I was looking for the same type of comfort the "Marriot Bed" affords. If you've stayed in a Marriot Hotel, you'll know that they are known for their comfortable beds. So comfortable it's hard to get up in the morning. I did my research and found them to use the Jameson mattress. Very affordable. Might have to look online for your local dealer. It was great.
