If you're going to do a lot of typing for email, appointments, and texting, the enV is really nice. One of my girlfriends has it and I've played with it a ton. The keyboard is fabulous! Definitely one of the easiest keyboards I've ever used.

I'd also check out the LG VX9400, especially if you are thinking of using it for video. The screen rotates so you can watch things in the proper orientation. As Jasmine mentioned, the ENV has a better keyboard so you might want to go with that if you are planning to use it a lot for email or for entering stuff into your calendar.
