In over twenty five years, I have owned two DeLonghi's, and nothing else. I still have the second one. It is easy to clean, will toast, broil and back, has adjustable rack, and does everything I want. The temperature is amazing accurate. And obvious, they last a long, long time.

We got a KitchenAid for a wedding present and the best thing about it is the pull out tray at the bottom to clean up the crumbs. Another thing it does better than our old one is that it actually toasts BOTH sides evenly. Granted I've only used it for toasting and not any other features yet.
