In my opinion, the best web browser for a phone is in the iPhone. I'm not a huge fan of the iPhone keyboard, but browsing on the iPhone is top notch.

I agree with egoh, for web browsing, the iphone is the best! I've tried other phones and they just don't compare. however, the keyboard is hard to use and takes some getting used to, so if you are a heavy email/text user, i would consider a different phone, like the blackberry curve. If your main goal is to use it for web browsing, then iphone wins hands down.

You might consider the LG Voyager with QWERTY keyboard. Personally, I bought the LG Venus and I love it, but I never browse the web although my son does with his Voyager. And as far as text messaging goes, I prefer not to, so I use Jott.com. In my own spoken words I can text or send to email or both at the same time. My son can't live without it. No more wearing out of thumbs texting.

The IPhone seems to work well for people. If you don't want to go with that there are quite a few different Blackberry products that would probably work well for you too. The Treo is a good alternative if you don't like Blackberry products.
