I have oily skin and I do not like wearing tint on my face, and the mineral veil is completely sheer - no color at all, and doesn't cast a weird pale tone on darker skin. I'm amazed at how GOOD it makes my skin look, and how it actually makes my skin feel better the longer I use it. And I never look like I have anything on. It is undetectable. I love it...it lasts months, and is worth the splurge.

I have oily skin too and this stuff is awesome! i put this on and don't need to blot till many hours later. try it for yourself. it comes as a pressed powder compact so it goes on super fast. it is not a foundation so it won't give you much coverage at all - it just gets rid of the shine. i highly recommend it.

You might want to check out Susan Posniak sheer translucent powder or one that's about in your skin tone. also colorscience has one too that's TOTALLY transparent that happens to be a sunblock too. also there are some great sheer face powders from global goddess on sephora.com
