Q:
I'm looking for a backpack to use to run 2 miles to work. It would have to be able to hold a change of clothes and my laptop (12"x11") , any suggestions?

You're going to need something with a good sternum and waist strap to keep the bag from bouncing around. It would also be helpful if there is a good strap for the laptop to keep it from moving around as well. The North Face Surge gets phenomenal reviews and seems to have all the right external straps. I haven't seen the bag myself so I'm not sure if it has the internal fasteners for a laptop. That said, it's hard to find any info on laptop bags for jogging since it's probably not advised. :) If it's a company computer, I'm sure you'll give the IT guys a couple of headaches.

As egoh mentioned, I don't really think they make laptop backpacks for running. You're either gonna have to get a laptop backpack that you can run with or a backpack designed for running that you can store your laptop in. Since egoh provided the former here's a running laptop tat looks pretty good.
