My personal favorite are the cheap sony MDR-J10 headphones, you can pick them up almost anywhere for less than $20. I work out pretty hard and go through 2-3 pairs of phones a year from shorts, broken cords, broken adaptors etc. The sound on the MDR-J10's is comparable to the earphones that come with the ipod and there's no slippage.
