http://www.lowes.com it is a Frigidaire, sorry I get them and Whirlpool mixed up it is model ATF8000FS. I only paid $700 at the above link. Maybe I hit a sale or something. But after almost 50 years of washers I find this to be fantastic...My kids all laugh at me when I talk with them on the phone about it. Mom is one of those that if I find a great thing...they have to try it out. At first I thought how in the heck is it gonna wash and rinse with such a small amount of water...but it really does and gets the clothes cleaner than my previous Whirlpool that was only 6 years old when it went snafu. You use less soap, less bleach and less softener and get much better results than with a full amount of those products in a top loading machine. I know my mother loved her Westinghouse front loader and that was about 60 years ago, then all of a sudden they stopped making them. BTW...if you should oversuds it, don't open the door like I did....geesh I looked like a Lucille Ball comedy act with soap suds all over the utility room...just add less than a capful of softener to the soap dispenser (it goes directly into the washer) and the suds disolves. You can tell if it can go wrong it will go wrong for me...LOL Posted: Nov 13th 2007, 16:10 |
